Roger Federer beat Andy Murray ۴-۶,۷-۵,۶-۳,۶-۴ on Sunday to win a record - equaling seventh Wimbledon title, Reuters reported.
The Swiss will return to the top of the world rankings after claiming his ۱۷th grand slam crown and ending Murray ' s hopes of becoming the first British man to win Wimbledon for ۷۶ years.
Roger Federer is a Swiss professional tennis player who held the ATP No. 1 position for a record 237 consecutive weeks from 2 February 2004 to 18 August 2008.
